Dear Friends:

I hope you are all doing well during these difficult circumstances. I am so thankful for you, and the hope that we have in Christ. I am grateful that you are able to continue your study and home so that you can be encouraged and edified. I find the subject matter providential. This week’s theme is “Faithful in Brokenness”. Many Americans are facing severe anxiety, financial uncertainty, illness, and sadly, the loss of loved ones. Having to isolate puts extra emphasis on these trials. This week on Day 2 (Session 3), it reveals God’s kindness and how he will never leaves us. It also stresses how we can reach out to others, listen to them, encourage them, and serve them in the way that the Holy Spirit prompts us. A quote in the side margin on pg. 51 says these are “some of the most powerful ministry acts we can offer.”
I want to encourage you to continue in your daily study and prayer time. I’d also like to suggest that we call 3-5 people each day, just to check in and ask how they are doing- then listen. I have 2 extra books available for purchase if you would like one, or know someone who would like one. Please let us all know who we should be praying for.
Peace be with all of you who are in Christ.
